Nadal won the Barcelona Open for the seventh time after beating David
Ferrer 7-6 (1) and 7-5 at Real Club de Tennis, Barcelona, Sunday, April
29, 2012.
This victory also makes Nadal became the first player in the Open era to win two tournaments capable of as much as seven times. Last week, the world number two is the eighth title in Monte Carlo Masters.
