Malbranque to stay at Cottagers

Man City have today ended their intrest today in Steed Malbranque after he indicated that he wanted to stay at Craven Cottage. City had an improved offer of £5million rejected today by Fulham manager Chris Coleman. Cottagers manager Chris Coleman had insisted this week that Fulham were not looking to sell any of their stars on the eve of the Premiership season. It is a blow to Man City boss Stuart Pearce who wanted the Frenchman to provide some creativity to his side after the sale of Shaun Wright-Phillips.

I personally think that Malbranque had a very average season last year for Fulham and I think Fulham should of seriously concidered accepted the £5million after all £5million in this day in age is a good bit of money. I think he would of been a great replacement for Shaun Wright-Phillips down Man Citys right wing. I think that Man City are a bigger club than Fulham and Malbranque could have furthered his carrer at City.
