Alan Pardew has today said that West Ham United striker Teddy Sheringham should be on the plane to Germany in the summer for England. Nope, you haven't read that wrong, Teddy Sheringham the 39 year-old that can hardly run anymore. "You could take Teddy for a number of reasons. He's only going to be a positive force around the squad. "If you needed him to come on, settle things down or create something, he could achieve that. "Personally, he has done fantastic for us and is no different now to what he was eight years ago, in my opinion."
Hahaha! I know Teddy has done decent this season but for him to be playing out in Germany for England in the summer would be crazy. He is just too old and he wouldn't get in ahead of the likes of Rooney, Owen, Defoe, Crouch and Bent. If Sven thinks of bringing up Sheringham than he might as well think of bringing up Peter Beargrie!
