British players, Ashley Young finally officially joined Manchester United, Thursday, June 23, 2011. Young brought to Old Trafford for a fee of £ 16-20 million (Rp220 M-Rp275M).
Prior to joining Manchester United, Young first undergo medical tests, Wednesday, June 22, 2011. 25-year-old midfielder was scheduled to defend the Red Devils with a five-year contract duration.
"Ashley tela contribute to Villa for more than four and a half seasons at the club and all the hope he can achieve a bright future," said Villa manager Alex McLeish told the site Vila.
"He is an important player in the England team and I am sure he wants to get a new challenge," added McLeish.
Young became just the second player who was recruited MU ahead of next season. Previously, the Red Devils have brought Blackburn Rovers player, Phil Jones at a cost of 16.5 million pounds, or Rp227 billion.
