No football fan could believe their eyes when the news broke that City had signed one of the most exciting footballers on the planet. The deal was only made possible when City were taken over by mega-rich Arab owners on the morning of the deal. £32.5 million was all it cost for City to take the little Brazilian to Eastlands.3. The victory, which was met with joyous scenes in the streets of Spain, was the first major trophy the Spaniards had won in over 40 years.
