Freedoms too much for Hingis
ALBANY — Martina Hingis was the big draw on opening night for the New York Buzz.
While Hingis got the team out of an early hole, she couldn’t hold on in the end.
Hingis won 13 of her first 20 games played, but ended up losing her final set and the super tiebreaker as the Buzz fell 21-20 to the Philadelphia Freedoms in World Team Tennis action at SEFCU Arena.
