Boxing News - Controversial win, Mayweather Proud

Mayweather won the WBC welterweight world title after a knockout win over Ortiz.

Floyd Maywether Jr. considers controversial knockout victory he achieved over Victor Ortiz is legitimate. Maywether just criticize the vigilant attitude of Ortiz.

Mayweather won the WBC welterweight world title after a knockout win over Ortiz in the fourth round in the battle which took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, USA, Sunday, September 18, 2011 noon CST.

Mayweather victory is quite controversial. Because the 34-year boxer blows toward Ortiz shortly after both fighters hugged. Previously referee Joe Cortez briefly stopped the action because he thinks Ortiz do violation to the head.

Mayweather thinks he did not commit fraud. Boxing world champion in five different divisions this would not be ready to criticize the attitude of Ortiz in the ring.

"Many people want to know what happened. There are a number of Ortiz' header . Anything can happen in the ring. Always protect you at any time. You want to see the knockout, I give you. When Ortiz was nine years old, I was already dominating boxing," Mayweather said as reported by Boxing Scene.

With this victory extended the record Mayweather has never lost his fists during his career. Boxer from the United States now has a record of 42 fights, 42 wins, 26 knockouts.
