Djokovic Is A Hero For Serbia

Welcome to Djokovic in five different cities in Serbia.

Success Novak Djokovic to win Wimbledon in 2011 to bring pride to the people of Serbia. This made him a hero's welcome when bringing home the trophy at Wimbledon to the town of Belgrade, Serbia, Monday, July 4, 2011 local time.

"It's unbelievable, I owe thanks to you forever for this welcome. I can only say that you are the best in the world. Only the Serbian fans who could hold a party like this," Djokovic said in his speech. (eh)

Become Number 1 in the World, Djokovic Ready to Challenge Nadal

After ensuring himself into the world's number one male tennis player, Novak Djokovic became more confident ahead of match against Rafael Nadal in the Wimbledon final 2011.

"But, I'll play without the burden. I'll go into the field to appear aggressive. Trying to put pressure on him because I did not want him to control the game," said Djokovic, who had swallowed a loss of 48 matches throughout 2011.
