Become Number 1 in the World, Djokovic Ready to Challenge Nadal

"I'll go into the field to appear aggressive."

After ensuring himself into the world's number one male tennis player, Novak Djokovic became more confident ahead of match against Rafael Nadal in the Wimbledon final 2011.

Djokovic became world number one Rafael Nadal to shift the position after stepping into Wimbledon final by getting rid of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semifinals, Friday, July 1, 2011. Whatever the final against Nadal, Djokovic will remain the world number one in the ATP rankings to be released Monday.

This is the first time since February 2004 there are players other than Nadal and Roger Federer are able to occupy the position of world number one. These conditions make the more confident ahead of Djokovic faces Nadal in the final, Sunday, July 3, 2011.

Nadal, Djokovic knew a better experience at Wimbledon after a successful win it twice. However, the Serbian tennis player was confident with his chances to beat Nadal.

Moreover, Djokovic has a good capital in the final. He always wins in four meetings with Nadal throughout 2011. And it all happens in the final round.

"He (Nadal) played great on grass. He remains confident and he knows how it feels to win Wimbledon. I? I do not know, because it had never felt it," Djokovic said as quoted by AP.

"But, I'll play without the burden. I'll go into the field to appear aggressive. Trying to put pressure on him because I did not want him to control the game," said Djokovic, who had swallowed a loss of 48 matches throughout 2011.
