It has been rumoured today that Chelsea centre-half, Tal Ben Haim may be on his way out of the London club in the upcoming January transfer window despite only signing for the club last Summer.The Israeli international has been out of favour recently with Portuguese defender, Ricardo Carvalho and fellow Summer signing Alex putting in solid performances in the past weeks. Whatever little chance he has of starting at the moment the odds of him getting a place in the line-up when England skipper, John Terry comes back into the equation his chances will become very slim.
There could be several clubs in the hunt for Ben Haim with Portsmouth, Wigan, Reading and Aston Villa all likely to make an approach for the former Bolton man. It is reckoned though that these clubs may have to pay out up to £5 million, as fellow Israeli Avram Grant will be reluctant to let the 25 year old go.
