Chelsea are set to make an approach for Everton striker, Yakubu in the January transfer window according to reports in The Express today.Yakubu only joined the Merseyside club in August of this year and in the last few games the Nigerian international has started to find the goal scoring form which saw him do so well for his former clubs, Portsmouth and Middlesbrough. The 25 year old has scored 9 goals in thirteen games for the Toffees.
Even though the Blues only signed "The Yak" for £11.25 million a few months ago, I think that with his current goal scoring form that Everton may be able to milk up to £17 million out of Chelsea for their number 22.
But personally I feel that David Moyes should try do his best to hold onto what I think is a world class striker.
