West Ham are supposedly set to sign Derby prodigy, Giles Barnes in the January transfer window according to reports in The Sun today.The Hammers had a bid of £3.5 million rejected for the 19 year old last Summer but now it appears as though £5 million is just too much for Paul Jewell's side to turn down for the attacking midfielder.
I think that this would be a good signing for West ham. Barnes showed yesterday against Newcastle just what he is capable of and The Londoners clearly see something special in this one.
