According to today's Daily Express, Barcelona are to make a £20 million bid for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.The player has been linked with several moves to Barca in recent months after reports suggested he wanted out at Stamford Bridge.
Drogba, 29, has been at Chelsea for just over three seasons now after joining from French side Marseille for £24 million and has scored 47 goals in just over 100 appearances.
I would be surprised if Drogba doesn't leave Chelsea in the summer. I think the rumoured £20 million would be terrific money for Chelsea considering Drogba is 29. I think Avram Grant will then go out and buy a top quality striker if Drogba is allowed leave.
