Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas has today quashed any rumours of him leaving the Spanish giants and joining either Arsenal or Tottenham.There had been several rumours in recent days that the player may be set for a £25 million move to North London, but the Spaniard has insisted he's staying with Madrid.
"Nobody has said anything to me about a supposed offer from an English team, but in any case I am very clear on what I want - and that is to be at Real Madrid," Madrid-born Casillas said on Telemadrid."It has never entered my thoughts to be at anywhere else but Real Madrid.
"I live here, I have my friends, my family and on top of that I have the great fortune to be playing in the team. What more could I ask for?"I have not received an offer, but I insist that I am not thinking of anything other than completing my contract with Real Madrid," added the 26-year-old, whose existing deal with the Spanish champions runs until 2011.
It is no surprise that Casillas has come out and said this but nevertheless I would of loved to of seen him play in the Premier League. Casillas is a magnificent keeper and arguably the best in the world. Well you never know maybe some time in the future he may decide to come to England!
