Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has today switched his attentions from Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov to Barcelona front man Thierry Henry. The former Arsenal striker has been linked with United in the past after an average first season in La Liga and it now thought Ferguson is ready to bid £15 million for the Frenchman. (Daily Star)Henry, 30, said he would never sign for any other Premier League club other than Arsenal, which seems to rule out a move to Old Trafford. But Ferguson is confident of persuading the former Juventus striker back to the Premier League in order to bolster his attacking options.
I personally couldn't see Henry going to United but stranger things have happened. He is an exceptional player who I feel would fit right in at United but wheter or not he wants the move is another matter. The former Gunner made over 250 appearances for Arsene Wenger and I am sure all Arsenal fans will be hoping he doesn't move to the Red Devils.
