Liverpool midfielder Jermaine Pennat is likely to be out for at least two months after injuring his right shin. He came off in Liverpool's defeat to Besiktas on Wednesday night after 59 minutes and he is likely to face an operation on a stress fracture of the right shin. Club spokesman Ian Cotton said: "For the last eight weeks Jermaine has undergone intensive treatment. "But it has now been decided he requires surgery."Pennant hasn't really done much since signing for Liverpool back in 2006. He was signed for a fee of £6.7 million from Birmingham but few feel he has lived up to that price tag. Due to the injury he is likely to miss out on Liverpool's upcoming games including Arsenal on Sunday.
Pennant has took part in everyone of Liverpool's Premier League games this season so who will replace him now on the right wing. Well I predict Rafa will probably start Yossi Benayoun a bit more and I think that will do the player the world of good because he just needs games and then Liverpool fans will see the best of the Israeli.
