Barca have joined Liverpool, Tottenham, United and Lyon in the race to sign Racing centre half Ezequiel Garay according to reports on Sky Sports.com.The 21 year old Argentine is very highly rated in his home land and obviously at several huge clubs in Europe. He is somewhat of a goalscoring centre half, netting 9 times in 38 appearances for Racing.
The 6' 2" defender was strongly linked with Liverpool prior to the transfer window but no actual developments have take place between Racing and The Reds.
Now though Liverpool have been joined by a whole host of world class clubs and the likelyhood of them signing him is decreasing by the day. It is likely that whoever snatches up Garay will have to cough up about £15 million.
