Jermain Defoe has passed a medical at Portsmouth although the deal is in the balance due to the delay in the deal which will see Benjani join Manchester City.Pompey agreed a fee with Tottenham earlier on Thursday afternoon and the player has agreed terms and under went a medical at 9:15, which he is thought to have passed.
I would love to see Defoe leave Spurs and gain some more first team football at Fratton Park. I do feel the deal will go through and Pompey will be rather happy with their business for the day.
