According to reports in various papers today, Newcastle United are preparing a £7 million bid for Liverpool striker Peter Crouch.New Magpies boss Kevin Keegan has been linked with numerous amounts of players in recent days and it is taught he has outline Crouch as one of his main targets.
It is believed Newcastle will make an offer of £7 million to Liverpool for Crouch who hasn't started anywhere near as many games as he would of hoped.
Crouch, 26, once again proved to Rafa Benitez why he should be starting for Liverpool by last night scoring in the side's 2-2 draw with Aston Villa. I feel it is the right time for Crouch to leave Anfield and go and get some first team football somewhere else and Newcastle would be a good option.
