Woodgate has been the centre of much speculation over the past week or so after it was confirmed that he would be aloud leave Boro if the asking price was met. That has been met by both Spurs and Newcastle and both clubs spoke with the player.
"At this moment I don't think he is going to come to Newcastle," Keegan told Sky Sports News. "In fact I am almost certain he isn't. I think he is going to go somewhere else. "It looks like we have lost him. I am very disappointed. I fully understand though. But I desperately want him to come."
It is clear to see that Spurs boss Juande Ramos is looking to strengthen his defence and I feel Woodgate will be a good addition to the Spurs side although I feel £7 million is a bit much for a player that is very injury prone.
