New Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan is said to be very interested in bringing the French defender to St James' Park and Chimbonda's agent could not rule out Pascal leaving Spurs before the end of January.
Willie McKay said:I feel a move away may be best for Chimbonda. He has established himself as one of the best full-backs in the Premier League at Spurs but unfortunately he is not seeing eye to eye with the manager Juande Ramos. I think a move to Newcastle is a real possibility.
