Tottenham are to launch a last gasp £8 million bid for Sevilla left midfielder Diego Capel, according to today's Daily Mirror.The player has been linked with a move to Spurs for some time as current Spurs boss Juande Ramos looks to fill his left sided midfield slot.
Capel has played under Ramos before whilst the pair were at Sevilla and he has made over 20 appearances for the club although he is yet to score for the La Loga giants.
Capel is a quality midfield player who would be a good addition to Spurs squad. Ramos has been looking at left midfield players inclduing Stewart Downing but it is thought that he has a better chance of signing the 19-year old Capel.
