Spurs, Toffees and Rovers join the chase to sign Gunners ace

According to today's Sun, Tottenham, Everton and Blackburn are all interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Lassan Diarra.

The French international is set to leave the Gunners and with French giants Lyon and Premier League side Newcastle already interested in the player, it will be very interesting to see who prevails.

Diarra joined Arsenal during the summer after spending only two years at London rivals Chelsea and although he has played the odd time in the League his more prominent roles have come in the Carling Cup.

Arsene Wenger has slapped a £6 million price tag on the 22-year old and if he were to get that kind of money it would be a fantastic profit for the club having only spent £2 million on the player. Personally, I think Diarra is a talented young footballer and I feel it's a shame his ability is going to waste at Arsenal. In the end I foresee Diarra ending up at Tottenham.
