Lyon striker Karem Benzema has today stated that he would rather move to Spain or Italy rather than move to England.The French international has been linked with several moves to the Premier League in recent weeks and months with Spurs, Man United and Arsenal all said to be interested in the 20-year old.
"I like the Spanish and Italian leagues," he told Don Balon."The Premier League does not hold too much attraction to me.
"Although they have great teams and I consider that I could play there, the style of game they play does not attract me. "I love La Liga because they play beautiful football there.
This is obviously a big blow for the sides involved because Benzema would of been a terrific acquistion for any of the three clubs. He is only 20 and in my view he has the ability to become one of France's best ever players.
