It has been rumoured today that Tottenham are winning the race to sign Sevilla winger Diego Capel who is also wanted by north London rivals Arsenal.Capel has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time now with both Spurs and Arsenal holding a keen interest in the 19-year old.
"I can say that he still has three years left on his contract at Sevilla and that there is a clause set at £8.5million,” agent Rene Ramos told calciomercato.com.
Spurs boss Juande Ramos has worked with Capel during his time as manager at Sevilla and it is thought that Ramos will make a move once the window opens in the summer. I have seen Capel a few times now and must say he looks something special and I am hoping he moves to England in the summer.
