Who do you think was the best signing of the January transfer window... Hutton, Mascherano, Caicedo, Anelka, Ivanovic, Defoe... Alan Stubbs, maybe not.I think the best signing of this year's January transfer window was Johnathan Woodgate, if he stays injury free. Especially as Liverpool fan I would have to think Mascherano is up there with the top signings, but £18.6 million is well too much for him.
