Tottenham could make a surprise January move for Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves. The England international has been heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford following yet another injury that could keep him out for several months and Sir Alex Ferguson is understood to be growing tired of the persistent injuries.
Hargreaves, 27, joined United 18 months ago from German giants Bayern Munich and has only managed 37 appearances for the Premier League Champions. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is keen to bring a new central midfield player to White Hart Lane once the transfer window opens and Hargreaves is now seen as a possible acquisition.
It would not surprise me one bit to see Hargreaves on his way out of United come the new year. It has been a real shame to see so little of the player over the past few months and a fresh start at Spurs could be the answer. Although Hargreaves is very injury-prone, I personally feel he would be a decent signing at £10 million for the North London giants.
Hargreaves costs just £3 million in this season's "You the Manager" and although he is currently out injured, he still represents good value. So follow the link below to enter your team to be in with a chance of winning some terrific monthly and weekly prizes.
