Arsenal have today been rocked by the news that midfielder Theo Walcott will be out of action for three months. Walcott injured his right shoulder during a training session before England's friendly against Germany on Wednesday and is now likely to miss a large chunk of the season.The 19-year old has really begun to establish himself as a first team regular at the Emirates and this will come as a massive blow to Gunners boss Arsene Wenger. The Frenchman had this to say : "It will be three months before he can play but longer before he uses his shoulder. "When a player has this injury it takes time for him to play competitively."
With Arsenal currently struggling in the league this season, this is just what they didn't need. One of their better players this campaign picking up an injury that will keep him out until February. It will be interesting to see who replaces Walcott in the Gunners starting eleven. I am sure I speak on behlaf of every Arsenal fan when I say get well soon Theo.
