Blackburn leave it late to defeat Everton while Boro Shock Spurs

Everton and Blackburn played out a very entertaining game which Blackburn ran out 3-2 winners thanks to a last minute goal from Andre Ooijer. David Dunn gave Blackburn the lead in the 21st minute but just on the stroke of half-time a Mikel Arteta free kick ensured the sides went in level at the break. A headed goal in the 65th minute thanks to Ayegbeni Yakubu gave Everton the lead. But two minutes later Blackburn were level. A Goal by Roque Santa Cruz, right-footed from right side of six-yard box .But of course there was one last twist in this terrific game and up stepped Andre Ooijer with aright-footed low drive from left side of six-yard box. An excellent game in which either team deserved to win.

Meanwhile at the Riverside Middelsborough beat Tottenham 2-1 thanks to goal from Wheater and Mido. A surprising victory as many tipped Spurs to be the team who may brek the 'big four'. Tottenham did pull one back as Huth headed the ball into his own net from Bentley's cross in the 90th minute. But Spurs didn't even have time to even get close to an equaliser and Boro ran out deserved 2-1 winners.
