Liverpool are supposedly close to signing Norway centre half Brede Hangeland after reports in several Norwegian newspapers linked the FC Copenhagen player with a move to Anfield.The player has also reportedly changed his agent to that of Morton Gamst Pedersen's to help secure his move to Merseyside.
The 26 year old was linked with a move to the Premier League during the Summer but a move to any of the rumoured clubs including; Liverpool, Villa, City or Newcastle never materialised. However it now appears as though The Reds are close to signing the 6' 5" defender.
He has made 41 appearances for Norway and 63 appearances for Copenhagen since joining in 2006
