Tottenham midfielder Aaron Lennon has today been linked with a move to Liverpool. The England international is believed to be one of Rafa Benitez' number one target's for the January transfer window, however Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is keen to hold onto the pacey winger.
Lennon has previously been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane, with former Spurs boss Juande Ramos understood to want him at Real Madrid. The 21-year has in recent months begun to show something like his best form and Liverpool are desperate to bring him to Merseyside during this transfer window.
I have always thought Lennon was a decent player who had the potential to become a great one. Lennon, undoubtedly has bags of ability and pace, however he annoys me at times with his final ball. He gets into promising positions in every match but he never really takes full advantage of the position. Having said that, I do think, should Liverpool sign him for around the £14 million mark, he would prove value for money.
The former Leeds man costs just £4 million in this season's "You the Manager". Follow the link below to sign him for your team.
