Tottenham are ready to make a £10 million bid for Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones. The Trinindad & Tabago international is seen as a perfect partner for new Spurs striker Jermain Defoe and Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is now ready to make his move for the player.
The 24-year old joined Sunderland back in 2007 after spending three years on the south coast with Southampton. He has since gone on to make nearly 50 appearances for the Black Cats scoring 14 goals for the process, however it is his aerial ability which has seen him become one of the most feared striker's in the Premier League.
Spurs have been linked with dozens of strikers in recent months, however for me, Jones is the perfect option for the North London club. It is obvious that Defoe is quite small, so I feel it is vital they bring a top quality striker with a bit of height to White Hart Lane this month and Jones definitley fits the bill.
