Tottenham are planning moves for Argentine ace Juan Roman Riquelme and Japanese star Shansuke Nakamura come the opening of the January transfer window. Both players are rumoured to be heading for the exit doors at their respective clubs and Spurs boss Juande Ramos is supposedly very keen on bringing the pair to White Hart Lane.
Riquleme is almost certain to leave Villareal during the January window after falling out of favour with the coach and he has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time. Nakamura is supposedly very keen on a move to the Premier League and Spurs is the most likely of destinations for the 29 year old.
In my view, both are quality players and would fit right in at Spurs. I would love to see how the pair would adapt to the pace of the Premier League. Riquelme really impressed me in last years World Cup and it has been a real shame not to see him being able to produce the same form in Spain with Villareal. Nakamura in my book is too good for the Scottish league. His all round play is terrific and he also posses a wicked free-kick.
