Portsmouth midfielder Niko Kranjcar looks set to stay put at Fratton Park after supposedly turning down a £12 million move to Monaco according to reports in The Sun today.
Kranjcar joined Pompey from Hajduk Split in 2006 for a reported fee of £3.5 million. However because of his promising performances for both club and country at the age of just 23, Pompey's rumoured asking price for the midfielder is about £15 million.
After the departure of Alexander Hleb from the club earlier this week, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is undoubtedly chasing some new midfielders. The Croatian international was thought to be one of the Frenchman's top transfer targets this Summer but it appears now as though he is staying put with Harry Redknapp's side.
