Tottenham are preparing a move for Real Mallorca winger Juan Arango, who today admitted he would be interested in a move to the Premier League. The Venezuelan international has spent over four seasons in La Liga with Real Mallorca has caught the attentions of Spurs boss Juande Ramos who is keen to bring him to North London.
"The transfer window will close his doors in two months and many things can happen," he told ABN. "I am aware of many rumours but nothing has been decided yet. "I owe respect to my current club; as a consequence, speaking of my preference would not be correct.
Arango, 28, had a magnificent campaign for Mallorca last season and has caught the attentions of several Premier League sides but Spurs are said to be leading the chase. If Arango does indeed arrive at White Hart Lane he will offer Spurs some much needed width and he will become their fifth summer signing after most notably Luka Modric last month.
