City join Liverpool and Arsenal in race to sign £20 million French star

According to today's Independent, Manchester City are to join the race to sign Marseille playmaker Samir Nasri along with Liverpool and Arsenal.

The 20-year old has been praised for his performances of late and it has led to intense speculation over his future at the club. He has even been compared by some as the next Zinedine Zidane, high praise for such a young player.

He has 7 caps in total for his home nation of France and has netted twice in the process. He was last year voted Young Player of the Year in Ligue 1 in France and has, this season, continued to impress on both domestic and European level.

It is believed that whoever wants to sign Nasri will have to cough up at least £20 million for the flamboyant attacking midfielder. In my opinion I would be delighted to see him join the Premier League because I feel he could flourish under any of the three managers involved.
