Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano is most definitely a wanted man.The 23-year old midfielder is currently not owned by Liverpool but Reds boss Rafa Benitez is desperately trying to sign him on a permanent deal.
Mascherano will cost Liverpool £17 million but the club owners seem reluctant to splash that kind of cash on the Argentine international.
Manchester City were said to holding a keen interest in the player and it now appears as though Italian giants Juventus are also looking to sign the defensive midfielder.
Mascherano is a quality player and it is no surprise Juventus have come in for him. I personally hope Mascherano stays in the Premier League wheter that be at City or Liverpool. I am sure many Liverpool fans will be very annoyed at the owners if they fail to give Benitez the funds to complete the deal for Javier.
