It has been reported that Liverpool are set to make a bid for AS Monaco star Jeremy Menez in the January transfer window.Menez, 20, is an attacking midfielder but also has the versatility to play up front. In France, some have compared the youngster to the likes of Zinedine Zidane. Since joining Monaco from Sochaux in 2006 the number 10 has netted 10 times in his 41 appearances for the club... Not bad for someone who normally plays in midfield.
Liverpool are favourites to secure the signature of Menez in January and it is thought that the Merseyside club will have to pay up to £7 million for the Frenchman.
