It has been reported today in the Daily Star that Tottenham boss Junade Ramos is ready to bid for Manchester United midfielder Nani come the January transfer window.The Portuguese played has failed to nail down a first team place at the club, unlike the player he arrived with in the summer, Anderson. He has scored twice in the Premier League against Spurs and Middlesbrough respectively.
Nani joined the club back in the summer from Sporting Lisbon for a fee believed to be in the region of £14-17 million and the Star says that a figure of around £20 million would be needed to lure him away from Old Trafford.
The 21-year old has played 12 times for United and both of his goals have been 30-yard screamers. I would be really surprised if United were to let him go after only a couple of months, although if they were to be offered the rumoured £20 million, Sir Alex may have to consider it.
