Gerard Houller has today emerged as one of the bookies favourties to succed Sam Allardyce at Newcastle.The former Liverpool manager is currently the technical director for Frecnh football but rumour has it that he would be interested in a move back to the Premier League.
Houllier left Liverpool back in 2004 having led them to two League Cup success as well as one UEFA Cup and one FA Cup.
I personally would like to see Houllier back in English football and I certainly feel Newcastle could do a lot worse. Houllier did a great job at French giants Lyon when he left Liverpool and is widely regarded as one of the best French managers at the moment.
