Real Madrid are preparing a January bid for Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva according to Radio Marca.Lucas has impressed during his rare appearances for the Merseyside club but has failed to nail down a first team place at Anfield and Madrid are prepared to offer the player more first team football at the Santiago Bernabeau.
Leiva joined the club from Brazilian club Gremio for a believed to be in the region of £8 million and the 21-year old has drawn some high praise from fans and pundits across Europe.
It would be a real shame to see Lucas leave the Premier League so soon after joining the Reds because he has to ability to become a top player in the Premier League. I just hope this is speculation but you know what they say, there's no smoke without fire.
