According to today's Mirror, Celtic and Everton are interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Daniel Van Buyten.Both clubs are interested in bringing the Belgian international to Britain on loan until the end of the season.
Van Buyten, who of course has played in the Premier League before with Manchester City four years ago, has made over 35 appearances for Munich but has recently not figured as much in the side.
I am really hoping Van Buyten returns to Britain because he a quality centre-back. He is strong and can certainly make a tackle. He would be a terrific signing for either side and would be an instant success whoever he joins.
