According to today's Daily Mirror midfielders , Portsmouth are lining up bids for Arsenal and TottenhamLassana Diarra and Kevin Prince Boateng.Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp is keen to add to his midfield in January after Papa Bouba Diop and Sully Muntari left the African Nations last week.
Diarra is unhappy at the lack of first team football at Arsenal and has asked Arsene Wenger for a move away from the Emirates. Prince-Boateng has failed to make a huge impression at White Hart Lane and although Juande Ramos hasn't confirmed it, he may be looking to offload him.
Pompey are looking to complete the permanent signing of Diarra as soon as possible and are trying to bring in Prince-Boateng on a loan deal for the rest of the season. Both, in my view would be excellent additions to the Pompey squad although I'm not too sure Harry will be able to get Boateng in.
