Lorenzo just shoot podium in Catalonia



Finger injury suffered while warming in the French MotoGP still being felt.

Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo realistic when trying to compete in front of his own supporters in MotoGP Catalonia, Sunday, June 5, 2011.

Having failed to achieve victory in two final series, MotoGP Portugal and France, Lorenzo has a great chance for a victory in front of his own supporters in Catalonia.

Last season Lorenzo took a dominant victory at this circuit. Pole, the successful rider beat home Spain's Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner with a long distance.

The victory in Catalonia will further strengthen the position of Lorenzo at the top of the standings. However, the 2010 MotoGP world champion admitted more targets podium in Catalonia.

Finger injury suffered while warming in France is still perceived Lorenzo MotoGP, riders 24 years and is also wary of the power of Repsol Honda.

"We must be better, because our competitors (Yamaha) is very strong and my fingers are still recovering from an accident at Le Mans. Our target is the podium. We must focus from Friday and I am very confident the team is ready to fight," said Lorenzo as reported by site MotoGP official.

Meanwhile, Lorenzo's teammate, Ben Spies, sure I can get better results in Catalonia. Of the four initial series, Spies best position is six positions in Qatar and France. Meanwhile, two other series, riders from the United States failed to finish.

"I can not wait to race here than any other track. This is a circuit that I like than the four previous circuit. After a difficult start and a little luck, I hope I can achieve good results,"said Spies.
