Too Expensive, Barca Doubt Bring Fabregas

Fabregas himself expressed interest to rejoin Barcelona.

Barcelona expressed interest in recruiting Arsenal midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, next season. However champion La Liga and the Champions League could cancel the plan, if Arsenal ask for more than € 40 million.

"I do not know if we will bring Cesc or not. I've no doubt if he was interested in joining Barca," said Barcelona president, Sandro Rosell, told TV3.

However, if the price is too high, then it could have failed to bring Barcelona CECS. "We have been offering less than € 40 million and if Arsenal ask for more, Cesc not be coming," said Rosell.

Earlier, the Spanish midfielder's expressed interest in rejoining Barcelona. Fabregas is the Barcelona academy students in 1997-2003. In 2003 he tried his luck in England with Arsenal.

Together with Arsenal, the 24-year player scored 57 goals and 100 assists from 303 appearances. He also helped the Gunners win the FA Cup Community Shield 2004-05 and 2004.

The Gunners seem to be getting lost these valuable assets. However, they will not release Fabregas cheaply.
