Munich is ready to release Altintop to Madrid


Altintop only be a starter in three games this season.

Real Madrid's ambition to get Hamit Altintop nearly became reality. Bayern Munich gave the green light to release the attacking midfielder from Turkey.

Altintop is one of the coveted players Madrid coach Jose Mourinho. Altintop contract ended this season to make the 'Special One is the more sure I can get the 28-year midfielder.

Mourinho wishes it received a positive response from the Munich. Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, confirmed it is ready to release Altintop.

"It is true that Real Madrid are interested in signing Hamit Altintop. Directors Madrid have told us about their interest. He (Altintop) has told us do not want to renew his contract with Bayern," Rummenigge said as quoted by The World Game.

Rummenigge insisted his side could not resist the urge Altintop to leave. The reason, throughout this season Schalke 04 former players more often a backup.

"Hamit only be a starter in three games this season, it is certainly not enough to satisfy him. So that we understand and respect his decision,"said Rummenigge.

If joining the Santiago Bernabeu, then Altintop will be the second Turkish player who brought Mourinho. Previous Madrid have got the national team midfielder, the 22-year-old Turk, Nuri Sahin, from Borussia Dortmund, with a value of 10 million euro transfer.
