Stoner: Lorenzo will soon Risen


"Last season Lorenzo impressive because he's confident."

Casey Stoner considers Jorge Lorenzo as his main competitor in the race for the MotoGP world title this season. Yamaha rider Stoner confident it will soon rise.

Successful Stoner won the last three series, in France, Catalunya and the UK. The result left the Repsol Honda rider shifts the position of Lorenzo at the top of the standings rider.

Lorenzo himself experiencing tough times this season. Although successful at the top of the league, the Spanish rider was having trouble offset the strength of Honda's RC212V motorcycle ridden by Stoner.

However, Stoner assess the main problems faced by Lorenzo is not on the Yamaha M1 motorcycle riding. The reason, both Yamaha and Honda both use the same chassis as the motor last season. Stoner is also still regarded as the main rival Lorenzo won the world title.

"Jorge (Lorenzo) is the only competitor in the championship now, but there are many riders who rode fast," said Stoner as reported motorcyclenews.com.

"Last season Lorenzo impressive because he's confident. I do not see Yamaha's worse than last year. They do not have to go back to the motor last year. Our Motor (Honda) is not better than last year. It's the same motor as 2010," continued Stoner.

Stoner himself favored to win fourth consecutive victory at the Dutch MotoGP at Assen Circuit, 25 June. However, Stoner reluctant jumawa.

"I enjoyed all the races in front, but anything can happen. I could have made a mistake. So we'll see," said Stoner.
