Villas-Boas Denies Follow Mourinho Steps

Chelsea signed Villas-Boas for three years.

Chelsea's new coach, Andrea Villas-Boas did not want to be compared with Jose Mourinho. He also denied that the step to Stanford Bridge is to follow the success of The Special One.

"I think there is no way for you to avoid the comparison (Villas and Mou), it is of interest to the media," says Villas-Boas told Chelsea's official website, Wednesday, June 22, 2011.

"I work at FC Porto and Chelsea is not because Jose (Mourinho) melaukan the same steps," says Villas-Boas again.

"Both of these teams is the team's most sought after in the world. And in the end I had the opportunity and are able to make them find something inside me that they are able to continue his success."

Villas Boas series of successes won a title with FC Porto this season has catapulted his name. But the move 33-year-old coach is always associated with his former boss at Inter and Porto, Mourinho.

Villas-Boas long as it's known as the successor to Mourinho. The impression was strengthened when, Villas decided to join Chelsea, who had previously brought Mourinho won two Premier League titles.
