Chelsea maintain 100% record

Chelsea have won their fifth straight league match in a row for the season against pointless Sunderland who have kept up their 18 games without a Premiership win. Chelsea opened the scoring with a 54th minute opener by Cameroon midfielder Geremi. Chelsea haven't let in a goal this season and did not look like doing it today as their defence was immaculate.

Chelsea's second goal came from a trade mark header by Ivory Coast hit man Didier Drogba and Sunderland goal keeper Kelvin Davis couldn't do anything about it. Sunderland have yet to get any points back in the Premiership. The only worrieing thing for Chelsea was that their £8million man Assier Del Horno limped off with 10 minutes to go.

I fear for Sunderland this year and I think they are strong contenders for the drop from the Premiership. Chelsea have continued like they ended last season with more victories and I wouldn't bet against them winning the title again.
