Wales V England

England travel to Cardiff today ahead of what is a crucial World Cup qualifier for them but not so crucial for Wales because their coach John Toshak has already said that he is building his team for Euro 2008. Wales could recieve a backlash from the England side who were humiliated in Copenhagan a few weeks ago when they lost to Denmark 4-1. England are set to experiment with a new 4-5-1 formation with Wayne Rooney as the lone striker. Charlton's Luke Young and Chelsea's Shaun Wright-Phillips are in line for their first England game playing from the start.

The match is sure to be a sell out at The Millenium stadium

Other good news for England is that Steven Gerrard will be fit to play after recovering from calf injury. Bad news is that Chelsea centre back John Terry has been ruled out of the game due to injury and Jamie Carragher is likely to fill in for him at centre back with Rio Ferdinand.

Will this man lead England to victory?

Wales can no longer qualify for the 2006 World Cup in Germany but they would still love to beat their neighbours England. Danny Coyne will play in goal for Wales, in front of a back five consisting of central defenders Danny Gabbidon, Robert Page and David Partridge - flanked by full backs Sam Ricketts and Richard Duffy. John Hartson is likely to play up front with Ryan Giggs just in behind.

Can this man lead Wales to a famous victory?

The last time the two teams met England brushed aside the efforts of Wales - coming out 2-0 victors - but Toshack is demanding a more passionate performance in Cardiff, in what should be an intriguing contest.

This is set to be a very exciting game with both side's wanting a win(England obviously need it more tough). I'm am expecting a close encounter and I'm am also expecting at least one red card. I think Wales will give it their all but I still see England winning by about 2 goals.
